I have been looking for a good tabata timer and timer to use in my HIIT (high intensity interval training).  After trying a couple, I stumbled on the Gymboss Interval Timer.  My others worked fine but they were really hard to hear.  The Gymboss Interval Timer solved my problem. It has a vibrate mode.
In case people do not know what the Tabata protocol is, here it is:
Work like a mad man with no pacing for 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds.  Repeat for 4 minutes per Tabata.

Here is one of my favorite work outs and the hardest to hear a timer on, "The Sweet 16" :
4 minutes of Heavy bag (as fast as I can punch)
4 minutes of Body Squats
4 minutes Heavy Bag again
4 minutes of Push-ups or Body Squats

This is where I had my problem with the other timers.  I could not hear them while swinging at the bag, so I did not know when my rest had started unless I kept looking at the timer.  If I am looking I am not giving my best. The Gymboss Interval Timer was loud enough to hear, plus it has the vibrate mode.  I turn on both so if I dont notice one, I hopefully will the other.  If I dont notice both, I passed out lol.

Haha, the machine is going to be in pain, begging to be put out of her misery and using the recently installed handrail on the porch when she tries to walk down the steps in a couple days.  Thanks alot for not reminding me that Friday we have to walk through a cave, go rollerskating and go to Conservation class.  I am sure I will be calling you all sorts of names my love (I doubt they will be anything sweet though).
