Timex Triathlon 100-Lap FLIX System Watch - $45.20
This is a great watch. I bought one a month ago and have found it to be very useful. While I use a gymboss for heavy bag training and other very intense exercises, the timex watch does awesome for my jumping exercises, running, and other exercises that need something securely fastened.
It has 9 interval timers! For tabatas I set 8 of them for 30 seconds. Then when the alarm goes off after each one I just watch the watch till 20 seconds and start again. At the end of the 8, it gives a long alarm telling me it is time to change exercises and start the next tabata. It counts up sets and reps so you always know how far you are into each tabata without having to count it up.
There is also a standard timer you can use. I like it for single tabata work. If you set it for 30 seconds, the alarm will sound at the end of 30 seconds for 10 seconds into the next timer repeat. This is great because you rest while it is making noise and when it is not, you are working. Never have to look at the
Timex Triathlon 100-Lap FLIX System Watch the whole time. Just work out till you are a few reps from failure.
With the high lap memory it is great for sprint training and cycling. Compare your times to other laps to see if you have been working hard enough. In HIIT we do not pace, we always give it our all.
Enjoy the watch as I have been!!!
